A message to the graduates from Harrison Ford: "Build something that didn't exist yesterday. Stand up for someone who can't stand up for themselve...Go change the world!"
Please take a moment to watch his commencement address, if you have time.

Upcoming Events

Weekly Research Seminar Series
The seminar series is designed to bring us together on a regular basis to explore the latest research and ideas emerging across our fields of interest. Each week, we will host one or two seminars that highlight new findings, innovative approaches, and ongoing work from members of our community.
Beyond sharing research, this series is also about building connections. Each speaker will begin with a brief introduction to their personal and educational background, giving us the opportunity to better understand one another’s journeys, perspectives, and expertise. This will be followed by a presentation of their current work and contributions.
To keep the sessions focused and engaging, each presentation will be approximately 15 minutes long, followed by a 10-minute question-and-answer discussion. We encourage active participation, thoughtful questions, and open dialogue to make the most of these interactions.
We hope this seminar series will not only expand our knowledge, but also strengthen our community and spark future collaborations.

The spectacular launch marked the first piloted moonshot since the end of the Apollo program 53 years ago.
How an Observation Made by a Japanese Researcher, Prof. Osamu Shimomura, in 1962 About Jellyfish Glowing in the Dark Led to a Major Biomedical Research Breakthrough and a Nobel Prize
Scientific discovery often begins not in a laboratory, but in quiet moments of wonder — in the decision to look closely at the natural world and to ask simple, courageous questions. Why is this beautiful? How does it work? What unseen processes unfold at the molecular level? And how might this small mystery reshape medicine or transform the way we live?
Curiosity is the spark that awakens the heart. Passion gives it warmth. Determination gives it flight. Together, they turn fragile questions into blazing horizons.
What Is the Most Important Ingredient for Success? Is It Intelligence? The Answer Is No!
What makes people like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jensen Huang, and Sergey Brin so successful in their careers? It’s not their looks or intelligence. Intelligence helps, but it is not the most important ingredient. It is grit—passion and determination sustained over the long haul. In other words, find something in life that you love and are passionate about, pursue it with all your might, and never give up. If you get knocked down, get back up—again and again. This applies not only to your career, but also to your life—your family, your friends, and those who are dear to you.
Bacterial Culture
Bacteria are microscopic single-celled organisms found virtually everywhere, including in and on the human body, where they can be both beneficial and harmful. Humans carry vast numbers of bacteria, estimated to be 10 to 100 trillion cells, which is roughly ten times the number of human cells in the body.
